Blog in Review for 2011

Thank you to all of the people who visited my blog this past year! I write articles on this blog to help software users in the AEC industry and I hope that I have been successful in that regard. May everyone have a great 2012!

Following is some interesting information from WordPress.com concerning 2011 stats for the ”Applying Technology to Architecture” blog.  I thought someone might find it interesting.  If not, that is fine.

The  busiest day of 2011 for the blog was September 28 and the most popular post that day was Revit Family Reference Planes IsReference Property.

How did they get to the site?

The top referring sites in 2011 were caddigest.com, forums.autodesk.com, facebook.com, linkedin.com, and ausaca.blogspot.com.

Many visitors came searching topics, mostly for aia e202, revit 3d section, aia bim standards, technology in architecture, and aia document e202.

Where did they come from?

Most visitors to the site came from The United States.  The United Kingdom & Canada were not far behind.
