Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a very important part of technology in architecture and this blog will often discuss BIM and its application. The author is very involved in the Autodesk products, so while this blog will primarily address the Autodesk products, the theory behind many posts can be applied to other design software packages. BIM is a tool to be embraced to help our industry move forward in a cost effective method of improving the design, construction, and on-going facility maintenance of the next generation of buildings.
