AU 2010 Class Presentations

I feel very honored to have been accepted as a speaker at Autodesk University again this year.  While AU 2010 will be my 15th consecutive year to attend Autodesk University, this will be my 4th consecutive year to be a speaker.  I am a very big advocate for Autodesk users attending Autodesk University and believe that it is an excellent value for the price.  I encourage you to attend if at all possible. 

I will be teaching 5 classes at AU 2010, in addition to one AU Virtual class.  If you are planning on attending AU, I would love to have you attend one of my classes.  If you are not attending, you can still check out the Virtual class and “attend” from your office desk. 

The on-site classes that I will be teaching are: 

  • BIM 
    • BIM Requirements of the AIA® Document E202 (1 hour lecture)

    • Early Design Stages using Revit Architecture (1 hour lecture)

  • AutoCAD Architecture
    • Doug’s Quik Tips for AutoCAD Architecture (1 hour lecture)
      • AB234-3 – Tuesday, Nov 30, 5:00-6:00 pm
    • Personalize Your Palettes in AutoCAD Architecture (1 hour lecture)
      • AB319-3 – Wednesday, Dec 1, 9:30-10:30 am
    • Creating Stairs in AutoCAD Architecture (2 hour lab)
      • AB433-4L – Thursday, Dec 2, 4:30-7:00 pm

The AU Virtual class that I will be teaching is: 

  • AutoCAD Architecture
  • Personalize Your Palettes in AutoCAD Architecture (1 hour lecture)
  • AB330-3V – Wednesday, Dec 1, 3:00-4:00 pm PST
  • AB340-1V – Wednesday, Dec 1, 8:00-9:00 pm PST
  • Autodesk University registration will open in early to mid-September, so I recommend that you keep tabs on http://au.autodesk.com for more information on registration information.  There are always many great classes offered at AU, so be sure and check them out.  This year, Autodesk University will be held Tuesday, November 30 through Thursday, December 2 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV.
